*Apologies in advance, I realized after that I hadn't mentioned the second eye. It gets painted on once the goal is achieved and the Darumas get burned in a special ceremony at the local temple at the end of the year, at which time a new one is purchased. This a perfect example of not living the past and having a blank slate, every year. You guys are amazing and it's amazing how much we'll all continue to grow! Happy New Year!
